as someone who has both been to protests and deeply sympathized w a number of protests over the last couple years (since trayvons death, actually – and then all the subsequent deaths as well) uh. your desire for comfort and ease of travel is not nearly as important as you feel like it is.

unless theres some kinda mass exodus of ppl and every road is being blocked, there are always side routes and alternate ways to get from point A to point B. if buses can be consistently diverted when theres construction happening or roads are being repaired, you can find another way to get to and from where youre going. unless you live in a place where these things are not an option (and even then… dont fckn run over living, breathing human beings), you have no excuse. figure out an alternate path and suck it up

hello friends, i finally have time 2 myself again. we’re not completely moved in but the process is less involved than b4 (aka we unpacked almost all the boxes so now its just a matter of moving furniture and putting stuff away)
