Wcif all the skin details from your last post

non, ily but that is honest to god like… hard. skfjskgj i change daes face details almost every time open the game & i forget what her old ones were

i can tell you the face overlay i use on dae rn is this one & i slap pyxis’ about face set on all my sims all the time. i also rly like pyxis’ nose masks (like all of them), obscurus-sims’ nosemasks [ 1 & 2 ], & brntwaffles’. also ofc tamo-sims eyebags

how’s the heterocromia for toddlers and children coming along?

theyre… coming. FNSGKJS tbh non, finding motivation to finish things is basically me throwing a proverbial dart at a board and hoping for the best. like every time i think to myself “im gna do smth productive today” & open s4s or photoshop, i almost instantly lose any drive to do… anything. idk!! idk whats wrong w me

but enuff abt that. i will finish them, i promise. itll just take some time fkgjfjgf

How do you edit your pictures into looking like a collage?? It’s really pretty!!

thanks non!!
im bad at explaining things but basically all you need is photoshop (im sure you can do this in gimp too but i dont use gimp :V), a canvas to start on and pictures of your sim in cas

images are in links bc tumblr doesnt let me make numbered lists including images smh

  1. the most important thing is canvas size, bc if its not big enough everythings just gna look squished. the one i used for that lookbook is 1000 x 724 pixels, but you can make yours w/e ofc!!
  2. next, use the rectangular marquee tool to make some boxes. or the polygon tool. or rly, any of these tools in this menu. depends on what look youre going for
  3. this is what mine looked like when i was done sizing the boxes. worth noting – i have both smart guides & snap turned on. those help a lot with sizing things
  4. next you either need some images to use as your bgs or a color palette to use. if youre planning on using a color palette, just click on the box in question’s layer in the layers & using the fill tool, fill it w the color you want. (it’ll say it needs to rasterize the layer – say yes). if youre using an image, you need to use a clipping mask to get it to fit
  5. so!! to do that, go ahead and copy and paste the image you want onto the canvas proper. it’ll look crazy when you do it, thats fine. right-click on the new layer (layer 1 in that screencap) & click create clipping mask. after that, it’ll look like this!! do that for the rest of the boxes. use new/different images each time if you want, its up to you!!
  6. once you’re set on the bg, you need to do the same w the pictures of your sims you want to use. cas shots are easiest for me when it comes to editing like this but you can use w/e you want ofc!! repeat the same clipping mask process w those & adjust them as needed (this is how mine looked after all adjustments/etc)
  7. and youre done!! now all you need to do is edit & add embellishments as you see fit!! personally, i used this psd as well as some smart sharpen to make everything look smooth & nice

and thats it!! i hope this helped, non ✨
